I first got into this group to read the discussions, since I'm not an expert. Actually, in my undergraduation, never heard about an anthropology of architecture... at least not from anthropologists. I have friends who are architects and they updated me on a few things, which I find very interesting. There aren't many reflexions towards that direction in Brazilian Anthropology, or at least not being circulated, which makes it almost the same. I found a paper wrote on the 1940's relating class-position and number of sinks and bathroons on the construction of houses in southeartern Brazil, but that was as far as I went on reading brazilian case-studies outside the classicas descriptions of indian architecture and construction. Though my main interests in Anthropology are Anthropological Theory and Ritual Theory, I don't know much yet, but I might just start studying this area and work on it someday! :)
